Unfortunately, not everyone believes that global warming is actually happening. There are people out there who believe global warming is a hoax, perpetrated by scientists and government in order to disrupt the current system and perpetrate a liberal environmental agenda. They also claim that the expense of solar and wind power would prevent Africa and other underdeveloped nations from catching up to the North. These people are very mistaken.

"The Great Global Warming Swindle" is a highly-contested documentary film made by British television producer Martin Durkin that argues against the scientific consensus that global warming is the result of mankind's excess carbon emissions. Advertisements promoting the film call global warming the "biggest scam of modern times." There have been several thousand complaints to the channel that aired this film, and the validity of most of Durkin's "facts" have been discredited, and would be contradicted if he had put all relevant information on global warming into the film, instead of picking and choosing the facts.
